Overview, Guidance & Examples

19-20 October 2015

Aix-Marseille Universite, Marseille, France

Course Coordinator: Prof. Pierre Sagaut, Aix-Marseille Universite

Lattice-Boltzmann Methods (LBM) became recently a very powerful tool for engineering in Computational Fluid Dynamics. They represent a very efficient  competitor to Mavier-Stokes based Tools. This course aim at presenting the fundamental of LBM(day 1) and state-of-the-art applications for engineering problems issued from major industrial companies(Airbus, Renautl,...) Examples will illustrate application in different fields: aerodynamics, acoustics, and heat transfer
